The idea, in three lines
- Your body clock reads light before anything else. The 2017 Nobel Prize in Medicine went to the scientists who mapped it.
- Indoor light tells your brain it's noon, all day. Light at night tells it it's still daytime, keeping you wired when you should be winding down.
- If a lens is clear, ask what it filters. The color is the point.
Daylight and Sunset
Most of what we sell, and most of what you'll film. Yellow = day. Red = night.
Daylight (yellow)
When: indoors by day, at screens and under office light. On before the first hour, not after the headache.
What it does: filters the most stimulating wavelengths, so your body can return to balance.
Show: the screen-heavy day, the late-afternoon slump, a POV through the lens.
Sunset (red)
When: from sunset until sleep, indoors. Never while driving.
What it does: filters the light that tricks your brain into thinking it's daytime, so melatonin is released naturally.
Show: your real wind-down, a through-the-lens shot, something you can verify, like a sleep score.
Neither lens is a sunglass. Keep both indoors.
